[OP05] Public attitude towards energy consumption
Key message
Data for the period 2010-2019 show a positive trend in the estimated final energy consumption in households. The share of households that estimated their energy consumption as low or very low increased by 8 percentage points from 2010 to 2019. From 2011 to 2019, the share of households considering more efficient energy consumption also increased. The indicator also shows a significant potential for reductions in final energy consumption in households – less than three quarters of households estimated energy consumption in their home in 2019 as moderate, or high to very high. . The biggest share of this households is in Pomurska, Zasavska and Goriška region.
